There are some Christmas events scheduled this weekend that will affect traffic in parts of the muncipality. The Sackville Christmas Tree Lighting goes Friday night at Acadia Park. The Halifax Regional Municipality says to expect a brief closure of Sackville Drive from Acadia Lane to Sackville Cross Road between 7:25 p.m. and 7:35 p.m. On Saturday, parts of Agricola Street will be shut down for the North by Night Holiday Market. The section from Woodill Street to Charles Street will be closed from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and the section from Charles Street to North Street will be closed from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. And the Spryfield Santa Claus Parade goes Sunday afternoon starting at 2 p.m. It starts on Punch Bowl Drive, then heads south on Herring Cove Road, west onto Dentith Road, ending at Spryfield Mall. “Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible,” said HRM. In addition to Santa’s appearance, the Public Health Mobile Unit will be a part of the Spryfield parade, handing out rapid antigen take-home tests. They’re free and available to all ages, but supply is limited. 10 comments 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post COVID vaccine appointments for kids five to 11 can now be booked next post طابع بريدي جديد في كندا يحمل صورة المؤلفة You may also like مهرجان السينما الأفريقية في مونتريال يكشف عن برنامجه 12 مارس، 2026 ’’ستقوم كندا بدورها‘‘ للمساهمة في إمدادات النفط العالمية 12 مارس، 2026 إيبي أجرى ’’مناقشة صريحة‘‘ مع السفير الأميركي حول... 12 مارس، 2026 Search for second Annapolis County ice fisher ongoing... 12 مارس، 2026 Nova Scotia Health to replace transformer after power... 12 مارس، 2026 Archeologists discover historical shipwreck on Sable Island 12 مارس، 2026 Politicians and environmentalists call for transparency on N.B.... 12 مارس، 2026 Warmer weather breaks temperature records in N.S. 12 مارس، 2026 Premier Tim Houston reverses some budget cuts amid... 11 مارس، 2026 Budget cuts put seniors and vulnerable Nova Scotians... 11 مارس، 2026 Leave a Comment Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
