According to a social media post by the Marine Animal Response Society (MARS), earlier this week they were told that a dead endangered blue whale had been found floating in the Sambro area. By Thursday morning, it had washed ashore and responders with the group were able to collect research samples from the 82 foot long animal. “Please remember that while this is an amazing animal that people may want to visit, it is also a federally protected species under the Species At Risk Act and it is illegal to disturb the carcass or remove any body parts,” MARS said in its post. “Feel free to look at the animal but please do not touch and be sure to keep back a safe distance.” 5 comments 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post أمل مرقس \ حوار مع الفنان فراس روبي مخرج العمل الفني الجدید: مسرحية المايسترو| next post Halifax’s airport to commemorate 20th anniversary of September 11 You may also like CITYnews halifax : ‘Incredible strides’: 12-year-old Tumbler Ridge... 18 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : N.S. premier says future support... 18 يونيو، 2026 راديو كندا الدولي : منظمة العفو الدولية تتصدى... 18 يونيو، 2026 راديو كندا الدولي : مونديال 2026: إنزال جماهيري... 18 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : N.S. hacker convicted of fraudulent... 18 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : Downtown Halifax restaurants booking up... 18 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: Homelessness doubled in HRM under government’s... 18 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : Police investigate after woman hit... 18 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: Strike not over yet as issues... 18 يونيو، 2026 راديو كندا الدولي: سجال بين فورد و’’أنغوس ريد‘‘... 18 يونيو، 2026 Leave a Comment Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
