واحدة من أكثر القتلة المتسلسلين إزهاقاً للأرواح في التاريخ، وعلى الرغم من ذلك كان لقبها “ملاك الخلاص”، إذ لم يكن حب الدماء هو الهدف الذي دفع جوليا توفانا إلى ممارسة القتل لأكثر من 20 عاماً، إنما كان هدفها مساعدة الزوجات التعيسات اللواتي يعانين من ظلم وتعنيف أزواجهن. فكيف استطاعت هذه السيدة الإفلات بفعلتها كل هذه السنوات؟ وما قصة وعاء الحساء الذي كان سبباً في إعدامها بعد ما ساهمت في قتل ما يزيد عن 600 رجل؟ تعالوا نروِ لكم القصة: جوليا توفانا.. البداية كانت زوجها في مدينة باليرمو الإيطالية عاشت جوليا توفانا التي وصفت بأنها كانت تجمع ما بين الجمال والذكاء، فاهتمت منذ صغرها بصنع العقاقير وتركيب الأدوية، لكنها كانت تعيسة الحظ، فقد كان والدها عنيفاً ولطالما أساء معاملة والدتها. وفي عام 1633 تم إعدام والدتها ثوفانيا دادامو بتهمة قتل زوجها فرانسيس بالسم. لم تكن توفانا أوفر حظاً من والدتها في الزواج، فقد تزوجت هي الأخرى من رجل يسيء معاملتها، لكنها كانت أكثر علماً واطلاعاً من والدتها، فاستطاعت تطوير سم لا لون له ولا طعم ولا رائحة، والأهم من ذلك لا يمكن لأحد اكتشاف أثره، وهكذا قتلت توفانا زوجها وانتقلت مع ابنتها جيرولاما سبارا إلى نابولي ثم إلى روما. توفانا صديقة النساء المعذبات في إيطاليا في القرن السابع عشر، لم يكن للنساء أي سلطات مادية أو اجتماعية، وكن يجبرن على الزواج في سن مبكرة من رجال غالباً ما يسيئون معاملتهن. وكما ورد في موقع ati لم يكن لدى النساء خيارات متعددة في الحياة، إما أن يتزوجن أو يبقين عازبات ويعتمدن في الغالب على البغاء لتأمين متطلبات العيش، أو يصبحن أرامل ميسورات الحال بعد أن يرثن أزواجهن. وفي ظل الواقع السيئ للسيدات الإيطاليات آنذاك، استطاعت جوليا توفانا أن تؤسس شبكة علاقات قوية، وسرعان ما باتت تعرف بأنها صديقة النساء المستضعفات. social media\ جوليا استقرت توفانا في روما حيث افتتحت متجراً لمستحضرات التجميل، وبمساعدة ابنتها ومجموعة من النساء الموثوق بهن، بدأت ببيع منتج خاص للنساء المعنفات حصرياً تحت اسم “أكوا توفانا”. كانت تركيبة هذا السم عبقرية للغاية، فـ4 إلى 6 قطرات منه كفيلة بأن تقتل رجلاً، ولا يمكن تمييزه في حال وضع في طعام أو شراب إذ لا يمتلك ذلك السم لوناً أو طعماً أو رائحة. والأهم من ذلك فقد كانت أعراضه تحاكي أعراض مرض شائع، فقد كانت النساء يعطين أزواجهن السم على دفعات، خلال الدفعة الأولى سيشعر الرجل بالضعف والإرهاق فقط. وعند تناول الجرعة الثانية ستبدأ أعراض أخرى بالظهور مثل آلام المعدة والعطش الشديد والقيء. ولحد الآن لا يعلم أحد الوصفة الدقيقة لهذا السم، لكن يعتقد أن توفانا استخدمت خليطاً من الزرنيخ والرصاص والبلادونا، والذي كان شائعاً في مستحضرات التجميل طوال القرن السابع عشر. ولم يكن “أكوا توفانا” يقضي على ضحيته على الفور، بل يعطي فرصة للزوجة القاتلة كي تظهر اهتمامها واعتناءها بزوجها المسكين قبل أن تعطيه الجرعة الثالثة ويفارق الحياة. وقد ذهبت بعض النساء إلى أبعد من ذلك، وطالبن الشرطة بتشريح جثة أزواجهن بعد الموت، والنتيجة: لا أثر للسم والوفاة كانت بسبب المرض. وهكذا استطاعت توفانا وعميلاتها أن يخدعن السلطات لعقود، وربما كانت ستخدع الجميع إلى الأبد لولا موجة تأنيب الضمير التي انتابت واحدة من عميلاتها. وعاء الحساء الذي كشف أمر توفانا تقول الحكاية إن نهاية توفانا كانت على يد واحدة من عميلاتها. كانت تلك المرأة تشتكي من ظلم زوجها وتعنيفه المستمر لها، وبعد تشجيع من توفانا قررت التخلص منه إلى الأبد ووضعت له قطرتين من “أكوا توفانا” في وعاء الحساء. لكن وقبل أن يضع الرجل الملعقة الأولى في فمه، باغتته زوجته وأبعدت الملعقة من يده وتوسلت إليه ألا يتناول هذا الحساء. أثار ذلك شكوك الرجل الذي ثار على زوجته واستمر في ضربها حتى اعترفت بتسميم الطعام. فما كان من الزوج إلا أن قام على الفور بتسليم زوجته إلى السلطات، وبعد أن تعرضت للتعذيب اعترفت بأنها اشترت السم من جوليا توفانا. السلطات الباباوية تكشف توفانا والسكان المحليون يدافعون عنها طالبت السلطات الباباوية بعد تلك الحادثة بالقبض على جوليا توفانا، لكن شعبيتها الكبيرة في روما جعلتها تنجو في البداية، إذ قام السكان المحليون بحمايتها، ومنحوها ملاذاً في الكنيسة. لكن سرعان ما تعالت الأصوات التي تتهم توفانا بالقتل العمد وتسميم مياه روما، الأمر الذي دفع الشرطة إلى اختراق الكنيسة واعتقالها. تحت التعذيب، اعترفت توفانا بقتل 600 رجل بسمومها في روما وحدها بين عامي 1633 و1651. وهكذا تم إعدامها في نهاية المطاف مع ابنتها جيرولاما سبيرا، وثلاثة مساعدين آخرين، في يوليو 1659، وقيل إن تاريخها الإجرامي استمر لفترة أطول من ذلك ولم تعدم حتى عام 1709 وبعد وفاتها، تم إلقاء جسدها فوق الحائط من الكنيسة التي وفرت لها الملاذ. كما تم إلقاء القبض على بعض النساء اللواتي استخدمن السم لقتل أزواجهن حيث حكم بالإعدام على نساء الطبقة الدنيا، وبالسجن على بعض نساء الطبقة العليا، فيما
