ثقافة و فنونعربي تركت عبادة الأصنام واعتنقت المسيحية فعذبوها وحرقوها ثم قطعوا رأسها.. مَن هي القديسة المصرية “صوفيا”، وكيف وصل جثمانها إلى إسطنبول؟ by admin 30 يوليو، 2020 written by admin 30 يوليو، 2020 547 عربي بوست / أحمد متاريك / باحث في التاريخ وعلوم اللغة تابعتُ، كما تابع العالم بأسره، صلاة الجمعة التي أقيمت بتركيا في مسجد “آيا صوفيا”، بحضور الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان وعددٍ من كبار رجال الدولة، في تفعيل مدوٍّ لقرار إعادة استخدام “آيا صوفيا” كمسجد بعد 86 عاماً من الغياب. أثارت الضجة العالمية التي أحدثتها هذه الصلاة اهتمامي من أجل قراءة المزيد عن “آيا صوفيا”، ومعرفة المزيد عن تاريخ هذا الصرح المعماري الضخم، الذي جذب انتباه العالم الأيام الفائتة، ولم تخلُ نشرة أخبار عالمية من اسمه، منذ أعلن القضاء التركي إلغاء قرار أتاتورك بتحويل المسجد إلى متحف، والذي اتّخذه سنة 1936. كنتُ أعرف القليل عن تاريخ بناء “آيا صوفيا”، الذي كان كنيسة عملاقةً أنشأها الإمبراطور الروماني قسطنطين وسخّر كل الموارد اللازمة لتكون أعظم كنيسة في الدنيا، وقرأتُ في بعض كُتب التاريخ أنه تم استجلاب عددٍ من الأعمدة الرخامية المصرية والاستعانة بها في عمليات التأسيس، واعتقدتُ أن هذا الإجراء هو الصلة المصرية الوحيدة بهذا البناء العظيم، ولكنّي كنتُ مُخطئاً. فلقد أثبتت لي مطالعتي لكافة تفاصيل تدشين هذا الصرح، أن المساهمة المصرية في بنائه امتدَّت إلى ما هو أبعد من دعم عمليات البناء، وشملت اسم الكنيسة والغرض من إقامتها ذاته، وحتى نفهم ذلك جيداً علينا أن نعود إلى الخلف 1800 عام. في القرن الثاني الميلادي، وبمدينة البدرشين المصرية، وُلدت فتاة أطلق عليها والداها الوثنيَّان اسم صوفيا، ويعني الحكمة، وتربّت مثل معظم المصريين في هذه الآونة على عبادة الأوثان. بعد ذلك تأثرت صوفيا ببعض جيرانها المسيحيين الذين كانوا يُواظبون على الذهاب إلى الكنيسة، وقرّرت التقرّب إلى هذا الدين الجديد ومعرفة تعاليمه، التي سرعان ما أُغرمت بها وأقبلت عليها. كثُر تردّد صوفيا على الكنيسة من أجل معرفة المزيد عن التعاليم المسيحية، حتى أعلنت رغبتها في الالتحاق بهذا الدين وتعمّدت على يدي أسقف منف (ممفيس)، وهي مدينة مصرية تُسمّى الآن منوف العلا، وتقع في نطاق محافظة المنوفية. اجتهدت صوفيا في أن تكون مسيحية صالحة، فواظبت على الصلاة والصوم ومساعدة الفقراء، فذاع صيتها في المنطقة كمسيحية متدينة، وهو ما كان يُعدُّ جريمة كبرى في ظِل حُكم الإمبراطورية الرومانية التي كانت حينها لم تفارق بعد عبادة الأوثان وتشنُّ حرباً ضروساً على المسيحيين، وفقاً لتعاليم القيصر الروماني “هادريان Hadrian”. وخلال هذه الفترة من أيام البابا أومانيوس البطريرك السابع لكنيسة الإسكندرية، عاش المسيحيون أياماً صعبة واشتدَّ الاضطهاد عليهم واستشهد منهم الكثيرون. استشاط أقلوديوس، والي مصر، غضباً لما تناهت له قصة الفتاة المصرية التي تخلّت عن الأوثان واعتنقت المسيحية، فأمر بالقبض عليها وإحضارها إليه في الحال. وفي حضرة الحاكم الروماني، لم تعامله صوفيا بالتوقير اللازم وإنما قارعته الحُجة بالحجة والكلمة بالكلمة؛ عندما وعدها بجائزة مالية قيّمة إن ارتدَّت عن المسيحية رفضت، ولما سألها عن سبب تركها عبادة الأصنام واعتناقها المسيحية أجابته “كنت عمياء، والآن أصبحت أرى”، ثم تجاسرت الفتاة الصغيرة بعدها وأعلنت له أن الأصنام التي يعبدها “ليست سوى كومة من الحجارة لا قيمة لها”، فجن جنون أقلوديوس وأمر بحبسها في أحد سجونه. وهنا تتوسّع المرويات التاريخية القبطية في الحديث عن كمِّ العذاب الذي تعرّضت له صوفيا، والذي شمل الضرب بالسياط وكيِّ مفاصل جسدها بالنار، وكلها لم تُؤدِّ إلى النتيجة المرجوة وظلّت الفتاة على تمسكها بالمسيحية، فأمر أقلوديوس بقطع لسانها وحبسها في سجنٍ مُظلم أملاً في أن تُجبر هذه الوحشة صوفيا على التراجع عن قرارها وهو ما لم يحدث. بل كان الحراس يخبرونه أنها لا تتوقف عن الصلاة داخل محبسها! وفي محاولة أخيرة منه، أرسل لها زوجته لتثنيها عن المسيحية وتعدها بالعطايا الجزلة إن فعلتْ فأبتْ مُجدداً. هنا أيقن الوالي أنه لا فائدة من الصبر على صوفيا، وأنه ما من وسيلة يعرفها ستُعيدها عن المسيحية فأمر بقطع رأسها. وحتى خلال لحظات إعدامها لم تتوقف صوفيا عن الصلاة إلى الله، بل وطلبت منه أن يغفر للحاكم وجنوده ما فعلوه بها! ثم حنت رأسها أمام السيّاف الذي قطع رقبتها بسيفه البتّار. ولم تكن هذه نهاية القصة كما تصوّر الحاكم الروماني، وإنما البداية. فيما بعد نجحت بعض النساء المسيحيات في رشوة عددٍ من الجنود الرومان، وحصلن على جثمان صوفيا، ولففنها جيداً في ملابس لائقة ودفنَّ الجسد داخل أحد المنازل. وتداولت كتب التاريخ القبطية أن النساء فوجئن أن الجسد بدأت تظهر منه “عجائب ومعجزات كثيرة”، وهو ما تم تفصيله بعدها في أن جسد صوفيا راح يشعُّ نوراً ورائحة زكية في يوم استشهادها من كل عام. انتشرت هذه الأساطير بين العامة، ونعتوا صوفيا فيما بينهم بلقب القديسة، وباتوا يلتمسون زيارة محلِّ دفنها لرؤية معجزاتها السنوية عن كثب، وظلّت حكايتها حيّة في نفوس المصريين لا يكفّون عن ترديدها ولا ينقطعون عن زيارة منزل صوفيا في ذكراها السنوية لرؤية الأنوار واستنشاق الرائحة العَطرة وتلّمس قدر من بركاتها. بعدها بعشرات االسنوات، أصبحت المسيحية الدين الرسمي للإمبراطورية الرومانية، ورغب الإمبراطور الروماني “قسطنطين الأول Constantine I ” (324م-337م) في تدشين عاصمة جديدة تكون مقرّاً لحكمه ورمزاً لعهده الإمبراطوري الجديد في ظِل المسيحية، بعدما اعتبر أن العاصمة الوثنية روما لن تكون صالحة لهذه الحقبة. في العام 330م، أمر ببناء العاصمة الجديدة، التي حملت اسمه، وبالطبع كان لزاماً أن تتضمّن إنشاءاتها عدداً كبيراً من الكنائس عظيمة المعمار مثل كنيسة “الرسل المقدسين Holy Apostles” وغيرها. وعندما ترامت إلى مسامع قسطنطين قصة القديسة صوفيا أمر بأن يُجلب له جسدها، وبنَى كنيسة خصيصاً على شرفها، منحها لقب “آجيا صوفيا Hagia Sophia” أي “القديسة صوفيا”، وهي الكنيسة التي لن يتيسر له افتتاحها فلم يتم الانتهاء من بنائها إلا في عهد خليفته الإمبراطور قسطنطين الثاني (337-361م)، وتحديداً عام 360م، وخلّدت اسم القدّيسة المصرية في الأذهان إلى الأبد. وحتى الآن لا تزال الكنيسة القبطية المصرية تحتفل بعيد استشهاد القديسة صوفيا في اليوم السادس من شهر توت، وفقاً للتقويم القبطي، والذي ينتسب لقبه إلى “الإله حتحوت” إله العلم والحكمة عند المصريين القدماء. ومن خلال تتبّعي لسيرة القديسة صوفيا، علمتُ أنها ليست وحدها التي حملت هذا اللقب، وإنما على مدار التاريخ القبطي الطويل حملت أكثر من قديسة مسيحية لقب “صوفيا” احتفلت ببعضهن الكنائس المسيحية على اختلاف عقائدها، واعتنت بذِكر قصص عذابهن من أجل نشر المسيحية، مثل القديسة الإنطاكية صوفيا، التي رُزقت بثلاث بنات أطلقت عليهن الأسماء التالية: “بیستس” (أي الإیمان)، و”هلبیس” (أي الرجاء)، و”أغابي” (أي المحبة). سافرت القديسة صوفيا ببناتها إلى روما وسعين لنشر الإيمان المسيحي في كل أنحاء الإمبراطوري الرومانية، وهو ما جلب عليهن سخط الحكام الوثنيين، فقبض عليهن، وخضعن لاستجواب أمام الملك أدريانوس الذي أمرهن بالسجود أمام الأوثان، واعداً إياهن بجزيل العطايا والهبات فرفضن. أمر الملك بقتل الفتيات الصغار الواحدة تلو الأخرى أمام أمهن، وفي النهاية لم يقتل الأم صوفيا إذلالاً لها، وإنما منحها أجساد فتياتها وطلب منها المغادرة بهن لتكون عِبرة لكل من يعصي الأوامر الإمبراطورية. حملت الأم أجساد صغارها خارج المدينة، وراحت تبكي عليهن وتطلب من الله أن يأخذ روحها أيضاً، وهو ما استجاب له الله فماتت جوارهن. وبعدها نعرف أن الانتقام الإلهي حلَّ على أدريانوس فأصيب بمرضٍ في عينه وفقد بصره، وتدوّد جسمه حتى مات ميتة شنيعة. ويُقام تذكارٌ لهؤلاء القديسات الأربع لدى كلٍّ من الموارنة والسريان والأرمن في 11 أيلول/سبتمبر أو 17 من ذات الشهر. وبالإضافة إلى هذه القديسة الإنطاكية، تُوجد صوفيا أخرى اشتهرت في التاريخ المسيحي، وهي راهبة ترأست أحد أديرة العذارى، والذي عاشت به 50 راهبة، ووقع في مدينة الرُها بالقرب من العراق. وصادف الحظّ العثر لهؤلاء الراهبات، أن الملك الوثني يوليانوس مرَّ عليهن في طريقه لخوض حربٍ مع ملك الفرس، فأمر جنوده بقتل الراهبات جميعاً ونهب كل ما في الدير، وكان ذلك في اليوم العاشر من الشهر القبطي هاتور، الذي ينتسب اسمه إلى الإله “حاتحور”، إله الحب والعطاء عند الفراعنة. أما آخر قديسة حملت اسم صوفيا واحتفى المسيحيون بسيرتها، فهي ابنة الوزير القسطنطيني ثيؤغنسطس وزوجته ثيؤدورا، وكان الوزير وزوجته اشتهرا بالتقوى والإيمان العميق بالمسيحية، ولمّا رُزقا بطفلة قررا تنشئتها على العبادة الصرفة، حتى أن أباها صنع لها مقصورة تمتنع فيها عن الناس ولا تتوقف فيها عن الصلاة لله. وفي أحد الأيام استيقظت صوفيا ووجدت نفسها تقف على جبل الزيتون في مدينة أورشليم وليس في القسطنطينية!
