CANADAكندا عربي أطباء كنديون يشددون على وجوب ارتداء تلامذة المدارس القناع الواقي by admin 23 يوليو، 2020 written by admin 23 يوليو، 2020 172 راديو كندا الدولي / إعداد كوليت زينة ضرغام | barid@rcinet.ca في الوقت الذي تسجل فيه كندا ارتفاعا بعدد حالات الإصابة بـ كوفيد-19 بنسب متفاوتة عبر أنحاء المقاطعات والأقاليم الكندية تنصب الجهود على إيجاد التدابير الوقائية اللازمة لدرء وحصر مخاطر انتشار الوباء. وبدء العام الدراسي الجديد في نهاية شهر آب/أغسطس المقبل يشكل معضلة اليوم أمام المسؤولين والسلطات التربوية وتطرح العديد من علامات الاستفهام حول الطرق الواجب اعتمادها لحماية صحية قصوى للأطفال وللطاقم التعليمي. وشددت مجموعة تشتمل على 19 طبيبا من أطباء الأسرة في شرق مقاطعة أونتاريو في الوسط الكندي على أن يكون القناع الواقي إلزاميا في المدارس عند بدء العام الدراسي المقبل. وقد أشاروا إلى أن الصفوف في المدارس عبر المقاطعة غير مهيأة لتأمين التباعد الاجتماعي اللازم. ونقلت مجموعة الأطباء مخاوفها إلى الهيئة الصحية العامة في العاصمة الكندية أوتاوا (SPO) وإلى مكتب الصحة في شرق أونتاريو (BSEO) مؤكدين بأن الهيئتين الصحيتين بدأتا بفرض ارتداء القناع الواقي في الأماكن المغلقة على كافة المواطنين بما فيهم الأطفال. “ولعل المدرسة لا تشكل استثناءً ومن “المنطقي أن يرتدي التلاميذ القناع الواقي أيضا”. تقول الطبيبة شوشاناه دايتون التي وقعت الخطاب الذي أرسل إلى الهيئتين الصحيتين وهي أم لطفلين: ” إنه يمكن للأطفال الإصابة بعدوى الـ كوفيد-19 ونقلها حتى ولو لم تكن لديهم عوارض ودلائل على الإصابة. لعله مهم لا بل ضروري لصحة الأطفال ومعلميهم أن يجبروا على ارتداء القناع عند العودة إلى مقاعد الدراسة”. تضيف الطبيبة الكندية بأن حتى تلاميذ الصفوف الابتدائية باستطاعتهم أن يرتدوا القناع من دون أية مشكلة، “فهم أطفال ولكنهم ليسوا رُضعا و باستطاعتهم بالتأكيد ارتداء الأقنعة”. تجدر الإشارة إلى أن الأفق لا يزال غير واضح في مقاطعة أونتاريو بالنسبة إلى تدابير بدء العام الدراسي المقبل في أيلول/سبتمبر. وتتأرجح السلطات المحلية بين ثلاثة سيناريوهات: الأول هو العودة إلى مقاعد الدراسة في الصفوف بدوام كامل، الثاني: إعطاء كافة الدروس عبر الانترنت للتلاميذ في بيوتهم والسيناريو الثالث هو حل وسط بين السيناريو الأول والثاني ما يعرف بالصيغة الهجينة أي الهايبرد. المدارس الابتدائية والثانوية كافة أقفلت أبوابها في مقاطعة أونتاريو منذ شهر آذار/مارس المنصرم بسبب الجائحة/حقوق الصورة: IStock ولكن مهما كانت الصيغة التي سيتم اتخاذها فهناك شيء واحد مؤكد، بالنسبة لطبيبة الأسرة الكندية، “هو أن المدارس ليست مواتية للتباعد الجسدي. وإن القناع، الذي يُعّد آخر حصن للحد من انتشار الوباء،هو الحل الوحيد الممكن”. وفي رسالتها تتابع طبيبة الأسرة بالقول: “لم تكن لدينا الأموال، ولم تكن المجالس التربوية في المدارس تملك القدرة المالية لإجراء التحّولات في المدارس داخل الصفوف. إن الحصص الدراسية في الهواء الطلق والأقنعة الواقية هما في أساس ما يمكننا القيام به لحماية أطفالنا”. الجدير ذكره أنه في المخيمات الصيفية في أونتاريو لم يُجبر الأطفال والشباب على ارتداء القناع الواقي وذلك لأنه يمكن تحقيق التباعد الاجتماعي إذ يقضي الأطفال معظم وقتهم في الهواء الطلق حيث يكون خطر الإصابة بالوباء أقل أهمية.
