صحةعربي فيروس كورونا: متى سيتوفر اللقاح ضد الوباء؟ by admin 24 أبريل، 2020 written by admin 24 أبريل، 2020 157 BBC / يواصل فيروس كورونا انتشاره حول العالم، ولم يتوصّل العلم بعد للقاح يحمي الجسم من المرض الذي يتسبّب به كوفيد – 19. يعمل الباحثون في المجال الطبّي بجهد كبير لتغيير ذلك. ما أهمية لقاح كورونا؟ ينتشر الفيروس بسهولة، ولا يزال أغلب سكان العالم معرّضون للإصابة به. يمكن للقاح أن يوفّر بعض الوقاية، من خلال تدريب أجهزة مناعة البشر، لمحاربة الفيروس إن التقطوا العدوى، فلا يمرضون. سيسمح هذا للدول حول العالم بتخفيف قيود التباعد الاجتماعي، وبوقف عمليات الاقفال. ما التقدّم الذي تحقّق حتى الآن؟ تتواصل الأبحاث بسرعة فائقة، وتعمل أكثر من 80 مجموعة حول العالم للتوصّل إلى لقاح، وبعضها دخل مرحلة الاختبارات السريرية. الشهر الماضي، أعلن علماء في مدينة سياتل الأمريكية عن اجراء التجربة الأولى للقاح كورونا على انسان. على غير المعتاد، تخطوا مراحل اختبار اللقاح على الحيوانات للتأكد من سلامته وفعاليته قبل تجريبه على البشر. شركتا تصنيع الأدوية العملاقتان “سانوفي” و”جي أس كاي” تتعاونان لتطوير لقاح. كما بدأ علماء أستراليون باختبار لقاحين مفترضين على حيوانات النمس. انها أوّل تجربة متكاملة العناصر ما قبل المرحلة السريرية، تشمل حيوانات، ويأمل الباحثون اختبار اللقاح على البشر نهاية أبريل/نيسان الحالي. ويطمح الباحثون في جامعة أكسفورد لإنتاج مليون جرعة من لقاح ضدّ كورونا في سبتمبر/أيلول، وقد بدأوا التجارب على البشر. ولكن، حتى الآن، لا أحد يعرف مدى فعالية هذه اللقاحات. متى سنحصل على لقاح كورونا؟ في العادة، يتطلّب تطوير أي لقاح، سنوات، وأحياناً عقوداً من الزمن. يأمل الباحثون أن يتمكنوا من تحقيق ذات القدر من العمل المطلوب، في بضعة أشهر فقط. يعتقد معظم الخبراء أن اللقاح قد يصبح متوفراً في منتصف عام 2021، أي بعد ما يقارب 12 أو 18 شهراً من أوّل انتشار للفيروس المستجدّ، المعروف رسمياً باسم Sars-CoV-2. سيكون ذلك إنجازاً علمياً بطولياً، ولكن لا توجد ضمانات أنّه سيحقّق النتائج المطلوبة. حتى الآن، يصاب البشر بأربعة أنواع مختلفة من الفيروسات التاجية (كورونا). تتسبّب تلك الفيروسات بأعراض نزلات البرد المعتادة، وليس لدينا لقاح مضاد لأي منها. فيروس كورونا: هل تسرب الفيروس من مختبر صيني؟ ترامب يجيب ما الخطوات التي ما زال علينا القيام بها؟ صحيح أنّ مجموعات بحثيّة عدّة صمّمت لقاحات محتملة، لكن ما زال أمامنا الكثير من العمل. يفترض بالتجارب أن تظهر أنّ اللقاح آمن. لن يكون مفيداً إن تسبّب بمشاكل أكثر من الوباء نفسه. يتعيّن على التجارب السريرية أن تظهر أنّ اللقاح قادر على تحفيز استجابة الجهاز المناعي، ليصبح قادراً على حماية الجسم من المرض. كما يجب التوصّل إلى طريقة لإنتاج اللقاح على نطاق واسع، لتوفير مليارات الجرعات اللازمة. يجب على الوكالات والإدارات الناظمة للأدوية أن توافق على اللقاح قبل السماح باستخدامه. وفي النهاية، سيكون هناك تحدٍّ لوجيستي كبير لتلقيح معظم سكان الأرض. الاقفال التام قد يجعل كلّ هذه العمليّة تسير ببطء. ان قلّت أعداد الناس الذين يلتقطون العدوى، سيتطلّب الأمر وقتاً أطول لمعرفة إن كان اللقاح سينفع فعلاً. فكرة تلقيح الناس، ثمّ نقل العدوى إليهم بشكل متعمّد (ما يعرف بدارسة التحدّي)، قد تعطينا إجابة أسرع، لكنّها أخطر من أن تجرّب في وقت لا علاج معروف للمرض حتى الآن.
