الاندماج في سوق العمل واحد من أهمّ التحدّيات التي تواجه المهاجر الواصل حديثا إلى كندا.
ويجد الوافدون الجدد صعوبة في الحصول على الاعتراف بشهاداتهم، ويضطرّ البعض منهم أحيانا للعودة إلى مقاعد الدراسة أو للعمل في مجالات غير مجال اختصاصهم.
ويجدون صعوبة في التأقلم مع عالم الأعمال الذي تختلف قواعده وظروفه عمّا ألفوه في الوطن الأم.
ولكنّ الجهود لإدماج المهاجرين في سوق العمل مستمرّة، وفي هذا السياق، ثمّنت وزارة الهجرة الكنديّة الجهود الخلّاقة التي تبذلها الشركات الكنديّة عبر أنحاء البلاد لتعزيز انخراط الوافدين الجدد في سوق العمل.
وأعلن ماركو منديتشينو وزير الهجرة الكندي اليوم عن أسماء الفائزين بجائزة التقدير التي تمنحها الوزارة لأصحاب الأعمال المتميّزين في توظيف الوافدين الجدد.
والشركات الأربع الفائزة هي “غلين هيفن مانور” للرعاية الصحيّة الطويلة الأمد في مقاطعة نوفا سكوشا، وشركة “كي بي أم جي” للخدمات المهنيّة فرع أونتاريو، وشركة “أم يو أف جي” للخدمات للمستثمرين في نوفا سكوشا وشركة وايت هات للمغاسل التجاريّة والغسيل على الناشف في بريتيش كولومبيا.
وجاء الإعلان عن الفائزين خلال قمّة وجوائز مجلس أرباب الأعمال للعام الأبطال 2020 الذي تنظّمه مبادرة توظيف المهاجرين ، Hire Immigrants Ottawa بالإنكليزيّة، Embauche Immigrants Ottawa بالفرنسيّة.

و تعمل المبادرة على تسهيل التواصل بين المهاجرين من أصحاب المهارات والكفاءات من جهة وأرباب الأعمال والشركات من الجهة الأخرى.

وتثمّن وزارة الهجرة الكنديّة منذ العام 2015 جهود الشركات الكنديّة التي تدعم اندماج المهاجرين بنجاح في سوق العمل الكنديّة.
