According to Halifax Regional Police, officers responded to the area of St. Andrews and Federal avenues just before 9:30 a.m. A 25-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound, and officers provided life-saving measures until he could be rushed to hospital with what are described as life-threatening injuries.
