According to the RCMP, officers were called on Wednesday evening to reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck at the intersection of Waterstone Run and Lucasville Road. Police say the driver of the motorcycle, a 35-year-old Lucasville man, was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving measures. The truck driver, a 67-year-old man from Hammonds Plains, was not injured, police say. The intersection was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
