Province-wide arrest warrant issued for man believed to be in Pictou County

Pictou County District RCMP is seeking information on the whereabouts of a man wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant.

Michael Craig Clyburn, a 43-year-old from New Glasgow, is wanted and facing multiple charges including:

• Three counts of Assault;
• Unlawful Confinement.
• Two counts of Theft; and
• Breach of Probation.

RCMP say they believe Clyburn to be in Pictou County.

He is described as 6’3″ and 242 pounds. He is bald with brown eyes and may have black or dark brown facial hair.

Police have made several attempts to locate Clyburn and are requesting assistance from the public. If Clyburn is spotted, officers say not to approach him and to call Pictou County District RCMP at 902-755-4141 or local police. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers.
