Teenage motorcyclist killed in fatal Dartmouth collision

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a fatal collision in Dartmouth that claimed the life of a 16-year-old youth.

On Wednesday evening, officers responded to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a car on Main Street, near Ridgecrest Drive.

Police said the driver of the motorcycle, a 16-year-old male, was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The occupants of the car were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with video from the area or information about this incident to contact HRP or Crime Stoppers.
