Canadian rocker Bryan Adams announces Halifax show

A legend of the Canadian rock music scene is bring his tour to Atlantic Canada this fall.

Bryan Adams on Wednesday unveiled his “Roll With the Punches” North American tour, featuring 40 shows across Canada and the U.S.

The tour will make a stop at Moncton’s Avenir Centre on Oct. 11 and then come to Halifax’s Scotiabank Centre on Oct. 12. The Sheepdogs will open for Adams at the Atlantic Canada shows.

Adams, a native of Kingston, Ont., was launched to international stardom in the 1980s with hits including “Summer of ’69” and “Run to You.”

Tickets will be on sale on May 2 at 10 a.m.
