Five people charged after stolen alcohol case

Halifax Regional Police say they’ve arrested five people in connection to stolen alcohol.

On Wednesday at roughly 5 a.m., officers searched a home on Allan Street in Halifax in connection to an ongoing weapons investigation.

As a result, five people were arrested and police seized property, but no weapons were found.

HRP says the investigation is ongoing and charges are anticipated.
