HRCE says all of its schools are closed today. In a post on its website Tuesday morning, HRCE said the decision was made due to forecasted snow and expected slippery road conditions throughout the Halifax area and said closure was based on the following information: • A forecast of 10 to 15 centimetres of snow by dismissal time • Road conditions expected to deteriorate throughout the day HRCE worksites remain open. Elsewhere, schools in Cumberland, Colchester and Pictou counties under the Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education are closed, as are all schools within the Strait Regional, South Shore and Annapolis Valley regional centres for education. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Snow, ice pellets on the way for HRM next post Rare virus that killed Gene Hackman’s wife kills three in small California town You may also like Diesel prices to shift again in Nova Scotia... 6 March، 2026 Halifax Water investigating ‘privacy incident’ on its online... 6 March، 2026 Halifax teens lament the loss of government program... 6 March، 2026 Spring Garden area businesses call out paid parking... 6 March، 2026 ‘A terrible idea’: Halifax to raise parking fees,... 6 March، 2026
