At approximately 9:25 a.m. Saturday, RCMP, fire and EHS responded t a report of a crash on Hwy. 103 near Exit 5 in Upper Tantallon. RCMP officers say a Toyota Matrix was travelling westbound when it left the roadway and entered the ditch. The driver, a 47-year-old woman from Dalhousie Junction, N.B., was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was involved in the collision. An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the location of the crash and a section of Hwy. 103 remained closed for several hours.
