Allister Aalders, 95.7 News Radio Weather Specialist, says the region saw a little bit of everything from this system. “It started out with snow and ice pellets, about 2-10 cm depending on where you were in the province,” said Aalders. “That was followed up by seven hours of freezing rain.” Aalders says temperatures then rose, and the area saw about four hours of rain, followed by a drop in temperature, which created ice across the municipality. While all schools with HRCE were open on Tuesday, all schools in Tri County RCE, South Shore RCE, Chignecto Central RCE schools in Colchester County, Cumberland County, Pictou County, and the Municipality of East Hants, all schools in the Annapolis Valley and Strait RCE were closed for the day. HRM enforced a winter parking ban on both Sunday and Monday mornings to assist crews in removing ice and snow from area streets. Nova Scotia Power is reporting scattered power outages across the province this morning, with the majority of interruptions occurring in the Minas Basin area. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Premier introduces bill to change fixed election date and auditor general process next post Nova Scotia government bill would lift ban on fracking, uranium exploration You may also like Four men charged in months-long home repair scam 20 فبراير، 2025 Prince Edward Island Premier Dennis King resigning from... 20 فبراير، 2025 Nova Scotia to introduce bill to eliminate interprovincial... 20 فبراير، 2025 Halifax police investigate after man killed in shooting... 20 فبراير، 2025 N.S. auditor wants Tory government to withdraw bill... 20 فبراير، 2025 المتَّهم بالتخطيط لهجوم في نيويورك وافق على أن... 20 فبراير، 2025 استطلاع: أكثر من ربع الكنديين يعتبرون الولايات المتحدة... 20 فبراير، 2025 كابل بحري يربط كيب بريتون بنيوفاوندلاند قُطع عمداً... 20 فبراير، 2025 ترودو ينتقد ترامب لمحادثاته مع روسيا حول أوكرانيا... 20 فبراير، 2025 كندا تشتري نصف مليون لقاح مضاد لفيروس إنفلونزا... 20 فبراير، 2025
