The RCMP says a suspicious death in Bible Hill has been ruled a homicide.

A woman was found dead in a home on Bomber Drive on January 3 after police responded to a wellness check.

Police say an unconious man was found as well and he was taken to hospital.

According to the Mounties, the 42-year-old woman’s death has now been ruled a homicide, and search warrants have been executed to collect evidence in the case.

Police say there is no information suggesting any risk to the public, or that the murder is a case of intimate partner violence.
