Mounties investigate shots fired in Cole Harbour

Police are investigating an incident where shots were fired in Cole Harbour on Sunday morning.

At roughly 7:45 a.m., RCMP responded to a report of shots fired on Amaranth Crescent where they found an unoccupied vehicle parked on the roadway and a home nearby with damage from gunshots.

Police said residents heard the shots sometime between 2:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m., adding there were no reports of injuries.

Mounties have identified a sport utility vehicle involved in the incident. The incident is not believed to be random.
