Police investigating $300 worth of lobster stolen in Lunenburg

RCMP in Lunenburg are investigating the lobster theft that took place last week.

Police said on Dec. 5 at roughly 4 p.m., officers responded to a report that lobster traps had been tampered with on South Side Road and a number of lobsters, valued at about $300, had been stolen.

Mounties said the theft may have taken place overnight.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
