Police arrest man after vehicle reported stolen in Halifax

Halifax Regional Police say a man has been arrested in connection to a stolen vehicle investigation in the city.

Police say on Nov. 24, a report was made about a stolen vehicle from Greenwood Avenue in the south end.

Five days later, on Nov. 29, officers found the stolen vehicle in a parking lot on Manor Lane, and arrested a man inside.

The 40-year-old man is facing charges including possession of stolen goods over $5,000, failure to comply with conditions of a release order and possession of housebreaking goods.
