Environment Canada issued a wind warning Friday afternoon, saying strong winds are expected in Halifax County and eastern Nova Scotia. The national forecaster says wind gusts of up to 90 km/h are possible along the Atlantic coast from early Saturday morning until early Saturday evening. Meanwhile a rainfall warning has been issued for Halifax County east of Porters Lake with 50 to 70 mm forecasted.
