Officers were called to the scene outside a residence on Seawood Avenue around 1:25 p.m. in response to a call about a stabbing in that area. When they arrived police found a 54-year-old man suffering from what police described as serious injuries. The victim was taken to hospital by EHS for treatment. Police began to search for a suspect, and with the assistance of a police services dog, arrested a man 30 minutes later.
