According to a release, the report came in at 1:30 p.m. on October 31 on Prospect Road. The suspect was seen breaking into the home before leaving the area with some stolen goods in a white Volkswagen Jetta. Shortly after the incident, an RCMP officer saw the vehicle believed to be the same one driven by the suspect and tried to make a traffic stop but the driver didn’t pull over. The person of interest was later seen on foot after crashing his vehicle at the intersection of Prospect Road and St. Margarets Bay Road in Beechville. The man the police are looking for is said to be a white man in his 20’s, about 5’8, and weighs about 150 lbs. He has short brown hair, abrasions on his arms and face, and a goatee, and at the time of the break in he was wearing a grey t-shirt and dark pants.
