The 48-year-old at the time was last seen in the vicinity of Gottingen Street in Halifax on July 23, 2020. She was first reported missing on Oct. 8 of that year by an outreach nurse. Madore’s remains were found on March 12 in a wooded area near Elliot Street in Dartmouth. Madore’s case is part of the Nova Scotia Department of Justice Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program. Anyone providing information leading to an arrest or conviction could receive a cash reward of up to $150,000.
