In a media release, Halifax Regional Police (HRP) note the robbery happened just before 6 a.m. Saturday at the McDonald’s on Chain Lake Drive. According to HRP the suspect took off with cash, and there were no reported physical injuries. The suspect is described as a white man in his 50s with a skinny build, wearing a black hoodie and dark pants.
