The Nova Scotia government announced it will allow RV spaces to open again this winter at Dartmouth’s Shubie Campground. Last year, the park opened spaces for residents in RVs over the winter as an alternative to traditional housing amid rising real estate prices and skyrocketing rents. The pilot program was considered a success and on Thursday, Community Services Minister Brendan Maguire told reporters the province is going forward with the same plan again this year, by permitting the Halifax Regional Municipality to open up even more spaces for those looking to camp out during the colder months. “The agreement is in place,” says Maguire. “It’s signed, sealed and delivered and we have agreed to go from supporting 12 last year to 17 this year so we are adding more spaces.” The move came after the province said it would give the Halifax Regional Municipality $145,000 in order to open up those spots in Shubie. Maguire says those renting spaces will pay $250 per month and that includes electricity and waste management. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Nova Scotia reveals $25-million deal with Airbus to replace wildfire helicopter fleet next post Vehicle belonging to woman last seen in South Uniacke found by RCMP You may also like CBC : Canada keeps historic World Cup run... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Israël, le Liban et les États-Unis annoncent... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Carney se justifie d’avoir évité de mentionner... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: L’Ontario n’augmentera pas le nombre limite de... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Why Europe can’t air condition its way... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Rescue workers in Venezuela race to free... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Iran and Egypt will headline Seattle’s ’Pride... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: B.C. police issue arrest warrant for former... 28 يونيو، 2026 راديو كندا الدولي: كندا وتركيا تدرسان إمكانية التعاون... 28 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: New technology that unifies harbour activity... 27 يونيو، 2026
