Durham Regional Police say they were contacted by the RCMP on Thursday after the Mounties intercepted what they described as a concerning Snapchat message. Police say the post indicated a desire to initiate a shooting at a school in Oshawa, though they did not specify which one. Investigators say they traced the message back to an 18-year-old Durham College student and arrested her on campus without incident. Police say they later searched her home in Whitby and seized 18 firearms, five airsoft guns and more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition, all of which they say were acquired and stored legally. Jhusmin Pagkaliwagan is facing one charge of uttering threats. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Canadian wheelchair racer Austin Smeenk wins Paralympic gold medal next post Video shows suspects spraying a North York plaza with bullets You may also like منع جمعية طلابية مؤيدة للفلسطينيين من الاحتجاج في... 18 أبريل، 2025 What’s opened and closed Easter weekend in HRM 18 أبريل، 2025 N.S. cancels U.S. supplier agreements and contracts worth... 18 أبريل، 2025 ‘You, sir, are not a change’: Party leaders... 18 أبريل، 2025 Man charged with sexual offences after incident at... 18 أبريل، 2025 جمعية تحثّ أساتذة الجامعات الكندية على عدم السفر... 17 أبريل، 2025 دونا سكلي تصبح أول امرأة رئيسة للجمعية التشريعية... 17 أبريل، 2025 Leaders target campaign front-runner Mark Carney in French-language... 17 أبريل، 2025 Crown drops second-degree murder charge for teen in... 17 أبريل، 2025 Halifax gets failing grade for fiscal accountability in... 17 أبريل، 2025
