Nova Scotia Mounties have arrested a man who was wanted for multiple fraud-related offences.

Police said Nicholas Eugene Croscup, 43, of Middle Sackville, was charged with multiple fraud-related offences that occurred between 2019 and 2021 across the province.

According to RCMP, they determined Croscup had falsely advertised used vehicles for sale, collected deposits from interested parties, then cut off contact without delivering the vehicle.

Multiple warrants for his arrest were issued after he failed to appear in court but it was believed that Croscup had left the province.

Last week, Nova Scotia RCMP, with the help from police in Saskatchewan, found Croscup at a home in Regina and arrested him.

He was flown back to Nova Scotia and appeared in Dartmouth Provincial Court twice before being remanded into custody.

He is scheduled to appear in court again next month.
