The agreement states the deal will support the development of a bilateral action plan to identify initiatives in both provinces. The two provinces will start by sharing information on topics including french-language services, education, immigration, provincial and municipal government services, economic development, health care, tourism and culture. The agreement is similar to the 2022 memorandum of understanding with Louisiana and the Quebec-Nova Scotia Co-operation Agreement, signed last year. As Colton Leblanc, Minister of Acadian Affairs and Francophonie said in a release, the “agreement provides opportunities for Nova Scotia and Manitoba to work together on innovative ways to promote, protect and preserve the French language.” The deal comes as Nova Scotia plays host to the seventh World Acadian Congress, which is on until Aug. 18 with many events taking place in the southwestern part of the province. The four year agreement between the two provinces was signed on Friday in Halifax. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Record Olympic Summer Games for Canada in Paris came with peaks and valleys next post Dartmouth animal shelter asks for help after dozens of cats seized from home You may also like Joly says about 45,000 Canadians in Lebanon; she’s... 21 سبتمبر، 2024 Unpredictable whooping cough outbreaks see cases rise in... 21 سبتمبر، 2024 Most Canadians feel country is not prepared for... 21 سبتمبر، 2024 ثلاثة جرحى في مسجد قرب مونتريال في هجوم... 21 سبتمبر، 2024 عناصر من الشرطة الملكية قد يُطردون بسبب تعليقات... 21 سبتمبر، 2024 Police warn of ‘theft ring’ targeting businesses in... 20 سبتمبر، 2024 Orders now being taken for School Lunch program... 20 سبتمبر، 2024 Bridge authority sends early warning to HRM drivers... 20 سبتمبر، 2024 Family of inmate who died in Nova Scotia... 20 سبتمبر، 2024 Nova Scotia sees slight jump in fuel prices 20 سبتمبر، 2024
