Kilfoil to represent Canada at Hlinka-Gretzky Cup

A member of the Halifax Mooseheads will represent Canada at this year’s Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Edmonton.

Forward Liam Kilfoil was named as part of the 22-player roster by Hockey Canada on Tuesday.

The 17-year-old played 62 games for the Mooseheads last season, amassing 9 goals and 11 assists for the herd in the regular season.  Kilfoil added 3 goals in the playoffs last year.

The Hlinka-Gretzky Cup, featuring some of the best under-18 players in the world, starts August 5th.
