Mounties said on Tuesday at roughly 8:25 p.m., emergency crews responded to a report of a collision on Indian Road where officers learned a Hyundai Elantra and a Honda Civic, which were travelling opposite directions, collided on the highway. The driver of the Elantra, a 46-year-old East Gore man, was pronounced dead at the scene while the other driver, a 46-year-old Sipekne’katik man, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
