(Meghan Groff CityNews Halifax) CANADAHALIFAX news Man charged with assault at ball field in Lower Sackville by admin 1 مارس، 2024 written by admin 1 مارس، 2024 451 By CityNews Halifax Staff Nova Scotia RCMP has charged a man in connection to an assault that took place in Lower Sackville earlier this week. Mounties say on Tuesday, officers responded to a report of an assault that occurred at a ball field on Cobequid Rd. According to RCMP, a 37-year-old man, who was armed with a bat, had assaulted a 38-year-old man following a verbal altercation. Both men are from the Lower Sackville area and are known to each other. The victim suffered non life threatening injuries was the suspect was arrested at the scene. Police say Anthony Scott Chandler has been charged with assault with a weapon.
