Environment Canada’s warning said 15-20 cm is expected, although 25 cm is still not out of the question. Strong winds gusting to 60 km/h and possibly 80 km/h in some areas are also expected. Meteorologist Ian Hubbard said the snow is expected to start mid-to-late afternoon Tuesday and intensify into the evening hours. He said the strongest winds are also expected in the evening, and the combination could make for visibility issues. Hubbard said confidence was growing for the storms’ impacts, but said the forecast could still change depending on the storm track. He was cautioning Nova Scotians to keep an eye on the forecast into Tuesday morning. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Strike begins at MSVU after weekend talks fail next post Historic N.S. storm: Woman dies after snow falls on propane line outside seniors home You may also like Diesel prices to shift again in Nova Scotia... 6 مارس، 2026 Halifax Water investigating ‘privacy incident’ on its online... 6 مارس، 2026 Halifax teens lament the loss of government program... 6 مارس، 2026 Spring Garden area businesses call out paid parking... 6 مارس، 2026 Five men face obstruction charges related to Dartmouth... 2026 ‘A terrible idea’: Halifax to raise parking fees,... 6 مارس، 2026
