Police in Truro say the case of a man who went missing earlier this month is now considered to be suspicious.

On Jan. 16, Truro Police Services began investigating the disappearance of 23-year-old Zackery Kellock. At the time of the initial report, investigators said Kellock had last been seen on James St. in Truro on Jan. 14.

In an update Tuesday, TPS said police have now confirmed Kellock was last seen in Millbrook First Nation and the circumstances around his disappearance are considered suspicious.

The case has been handed to the RMCP’s Northeast Nova Major Crime Unit as Millbrook falls under RCMP jurisdiction.

Kellock is described as a white man, 5’10” and 159 lbs. He has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is being asked to reach out to the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
