Pete’s employees voted overwhelmingly to join the Service Employees International Union Local 2 last year, but say they are still without a contract from Sobey’s, which owns the store. According to striking workers, many employees are working for minimum wage and the last offer from the company called for a wage increase of five cents per hour. Striking Pete’s Frootique workers along with supporters gathered Sunday for a rally at the location on Dresden Row, which remains closed “until further notice”. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post خطر الإصابة بالخرف والسكتة الدماغية مرتبط بالعمر البيولوجي next post Northern mainland and parts of Cape Breton under Snow Squall Watch You may also like Some mandatory water use restrictions introduced for areas... 27 نوفمبر، 2024 Paul Bernardo denied parole after victims’ families plead... 27 نوفمبر، 2024 N.S. election officials say results to be delayed... 27 نوفمبر، 2024 Nova Scotia 2024 election results 26 نوفمبر، 2024 ترودو يجتمع برؤساء حكومات المقاطعات غداً للبحث في... 26 نوفمبر، 2024 ترامب يعلن رسوماً جمركية على كندا والمكسيك، والمزيد... 26 نوفمبر، 2024 الحكومة تأمل في أن تعالج إجراءاتُها المعيشية ’’اهتزازاً... 26 نوفمبر، 2024 كندا مستعدة للتحرك ’’بشكل أسرع‘‘ لتحقيق هدف الـ2%... 26 نوفمبر، 2024 Nova Scotia Tories appear safe with close battle... 25 نوفمبر، 2024 Canada Post says it’s down 10 million parcels... 25 نوفمبر، 2024
