A tiny home community will be built in Lower Sackville with a total of 52 units, providing housing for about 62 people experiencing homelessness, according to the province. The project will be getting $9.2 million from the province for construction on land being provided at no charge by the municipality. Nova Scotia will also be spending nearly $1 million annually in operating costs. “It is anticipated that 30 units will be complete by next spring, and people will be in them next summer,” the province said in a news release. “The community will be complete by next fall. If successful, similar communities may be created in other areas of HRM and across the province.” A non-profit will be created to oversee the community, the province said. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Military to train in and around HRM next post You may also like Police involved in power pole crash while chasing... 28 أبريل، 2026 Three drivers in HRM charged with stunting 2026 Manitoba man killed in Shubenacadie car crash 27 أبريل، 2026 Prime Minister Mark Carney announces Canada’s 1st sovereign... 27 أبريل، 2026 Power restored after thousands in the dark in...
