THE CANADIAN PRESS/Sean Kilpatrick CANADAHALIFAX news Military to train in and around HRM by admin 12 أكتوبر، 2023 written by admin 12 أكتوبر، 2023 528 By CityNews Halifax staff Beginning on Thursday, Oct. 12 and continuing over the next ten days, you may see an increase in military activity around Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Special Operations Forces Command members will be in Halifax, Lawrencetown, Waverley and the Debert area as part of a training exercise. The Department of National Defence (DND) said as part of the exercise people may see military aircraft and uniformed and non-uniformed military personnel with weapons. Military officials do say that while members will be carrying weapons, only training ammunition and training explosives will be used.
