Price of gasoline drops after interrupter clause invoked

by admin

By CityNews Halifax Staff

We are waking up to lower gas prices.

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board dropped the price of gas by five cents at midnight after invoking the interrupter clause.

Self-serve regular gasoline is now priced at 183.3 cents per litre.

The provincial regulator said the move was made due to significant market shifts in the price for oil.

The price of diesel remains at 211.3 since it was not impacted by the change.
