Nova Scotia RCMP are asking for the public’s help as Mounties investigate the theft of military medals.

On Sept. 1, Colchester County District RCMP received a report of a tote having been stolen during an air show in Debert.

Mounties say they learned that the tote was filled with military medals and was stolen sometime on Aug. 27.

There were roughly 90 medals in total and they were mounted in seven different display frames.

Police say they haven’t been able to find any leads and are now seeing the public’s help.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
