The Halifax RCMP said officers were at a check point on Margeson Dr., on the lookout for impaired drivers around 11:15 p.m. when a Kia refused to stop for officers. Those officers used a spike belt to stop the vehicle at the exit of the Indigo Shores subdivision. The two people in the vehicle took off on foot, according to police. The passenger was arrested nearby, and the driver was arrested this morning. Both are accused of several crimes, including stealing the vehicle they were in.
