At roughly 1:20 p.m., officers responded to the Home Depot on Finnian Row where two suspects stole merchandise. Police say one of the suspects threatened staff with what was believed to be a firearm before both suspects fled the area on foot. The staff members were not physically injured and the suspects were arrested in the area a short time later. During the arrest, police say they seized a replica firearm. A 33-year-old-man is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court at a later date to face the following charges: Robbery Uttering threats Theft under $5,000 Possession under $5,000 A 15-year-old youth is scheduled to appear in youth court today to face the following charges: Robbery Use of imitation firearm in commission of an offense Carrying a concealed weapon Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose Uttering threats Discharge of air gun with intent Police say the youth is also facing charges in relation to two other robberies that occurred in Dartmouth last month. The Irving on Highfield Park Drive on Aug. 23 and the Needs Convenience Store on Prince Albert Road on Aug. 31.
