The province says 541 of those cases are in Central Zone, 133 are in Eastern Zone, 90 are in Northern Zone and 73 are in Western Zone. On Jan. 8, Nova Scotia Health Authority labs completed 4,144 tests. “Because of a spike in testing and positive cases, public health is experiencing delays in follow-up,” a news release says. “All people who test positive should contact their close contacts.
