1- استخدام المنتجات المعطرة
غالباً ما يصاحب هذه الفترة رائحة كريهة الأمر الذي يدفع البعض إلى استخدام المنتجات المعطّرة للتخلص منها. ولكن ينبغي تجنب استخدام المنتجات المعطّرة في فترة الحيض! فوفقًا لخبراء الصحّة ، يجب على النساء ألا يستخدمن أي منتجات معطرة، بما في ذلك الفوط الصحّية والحشوات والبخاخات وغيرها لأن هذه المنتجات المعطرة محمّلة بالمواد الكيميائية الاصطناعية مثل الفثالات ، والبارابين ، والمواد الكيميائية المسببة للسرطان مثل هيدروكسيانيول بوتيل. هذه المواد الكيميائية يمكن أن تهّيج الجسم وتؤدي إلى عدوى بكتيرية.
2- عدم الحصول على قسط كافٍ النوم
يواجه الكثير منا صعوبات في النوم أثناء هذه الفترة. لكن عدم الحصول على قسط كافٍ من النوم يعد خطأً خطيراً في فترة الحيض يجب علينا تجنبه. بسبب الألم والانزعاج، تتجنب العديد من الفتيات النوم. الحصول على نوم مناسب مهم بشكل خاص خلال هذه الفترة. قلة النوم يمكن أن تسبّب التوتر والالتهابات التي يمكن أن تؤدّي إلى تفاقم الدورة الشهرية وكذلك تقلصات الحيض.
3-شرب الكثير من القهوة
غالبًا ما تؤدّي قلّة النوم وغيرها من المضايقات الجسدية إلى زيادة تناول القهوة. لكن الكافيين يمكن أن يؤدي إلى تجفيف الجسم وجعل متلازمات الدورة الشهرية أسوأ. إن شرب الكثير من القهوة يمكن أن يسبّب الصداع والأرق. يمكن أن يزيد استهلاك الكافيين من مستوى الإستروجين المرتبط بتطوير سرطان الثدي وبطانة الرحم.
4- تناول الأدوية المسكّنة
تلجأ العديد من الفتيات والنساء إلى الأدوية المسكّنة والتي لا تحتاج إللا وصفة طبّية للتخلص من تقلصات الدورة الشهرية والألم. هذا خطأ آخر كبير في فترة الحيض لأن هذه الأدوية يمكن أن تضر أكثر مما تنفع. إن كثرة تناول مسكنات الألم يزيد من خطر الإصابة بنوبة قلبية أو سكتة دماغية دون سابق إنذار. كما يمكن أن يسبّب تقرحات أو نزيف في المعدة والأمعاء وكذلك تلف الكبد والكلى. لتقليل معاناتك، تناولي للمغنيسيوم والكالسيوم وفيتامين B6 لأنها تساعد في تقليل التشنج.
5- تناول كمّية اقل من الحديد
من الشائع جداُ انخفاض مستوى الحديد خلال فترة الحيض. يجب أن نزيد من استهلاكنا للحديد للتأكّد من عدم الإصابة بفقر الدم. أضيفي الفاصوليا والسبانخ واللحوم وغيرها من الأطعمة الغنية بالحديد وتناولي المكملات الغذائية.
6- الامتناع عن ممارسة التمرين اليومي
خلال فترة الحيض، نشعر بالضعف ونتخطى تمريننا اليومي. انه خطأ شائع جداً تقوم به العديد من النساء والشابات. من الجيد أن تكون نشطية خلال الدورة الشهرة، ولكن تجنّبي ممارسة التمارين الثقيلة واعتمدي الأنشطة البسيطة والخفيفة مثل ركوب الدراجات أو المشي لأنها تعطي الشعور بالراحة وتخفّف من من تقلصات الدورة الشهرية وتساعدنا على الشعور بالتحسّن.
