Responders were able to fix the leak and ventilate the building to allow occupants back inside. “Carbon monoxide is deadly and invisible. Install CO alarms if you use gas appliances or have an attached garage,” Halifax Professional Fire Fighters wrote in a post on X. Under the Nova Scotia Building Code, there is no legal requirement for carbon monoxide alarms in buildings located within the Halifax Regional Municipality. However, municipal officials and first responders recommend their instillation in all buildings, especially those with fuel-burning appliances or an attached garage. Signs of carbon monoxide exposure can range from mild symptoms of fatigue and dizziness, to more severe symptoms of nausea, fainting, or even coma or death. If you suspect carbon monoxide exposure, evacuate the building and call 9-1-1. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency receives international accreditation next post جلد ثلاثي الأبعاد قد ينهي عصر تجارب التجميل على الحيوانات You may also like Small drop in people on Nova Scotia primary... 15 أبريل، 2025 worth $2,000 of lobster stolen: Nova Scotia RCMP 15 أبريل، 2025 N.S. offers up to $150,000 for information in... 15 أبريل، 2025 HRM residents still open to welcoming U.S. tourists... 15 أبريل، 2025 Halifax mayor to deliver first State of the... 15 أبريل، 2025 السينما المغاربية تتميّز في مهرجان ’’Vues d’Afrique‘‘ 15 أبريل، 2025 Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency receives international accreditation 13 أبريل، 2025 Future legislation compensating news outlets for content must... 13 أبريل، 2025 RCMP seek assistance in locating missing teen last... 13 أبريل، 2025 الحملة الانتخابية الفدرالية في يومها العشرين 13 أبريل، 2025
