كتاب ألماني مفاجئ يقدم عن صاحب “المحاكمة” حقائق تتناقض مع المعروف عنه

ربما يكون الكاتب التشيكي باللغة الألمانية فرانز كافكا واحداً من أكثر كتاب القرن العشرين في العالم حظاً مع الباحثين والنقاد والمفسرين وربما القراء أيضاً. ففي نهاية الأمر تزدحم المكتبات العامة والخاصة بأعداد لا متناهية من الكتب والدراسات، والمطبوعات والمجلات بالمقالات التي تحاول تفسير أعماله وتفاصيل حياته والربط بينهما. ولعل القاسم المشترك بينها جميعاً تلك الصورة الكئيبة لكاتب منعزل بليد في حركته مقيم في حزن وجودي يعكسه في الشخصيات المحورية لروايات غالباً ما يحمل “بطلها” اسماً يبدأ بحرف ك. (من كافكا) ويعيش قمعين أحدهما خارجي سلطوي والآخر داخلي وجودي. ونعرف أن تلك الصورة موروثة في معظم سماتها مما كتبه عنه صديقه ماكس برود حين “استولى” على تراثه ضارباً الصفح عن وصية الكاتب التي أرادت أن يحرق ذلك التراث بعد موته.
ماكس برود وغاياته
يومها وجد برود مكسبين رئيسيين في “استعادة” كافكا رغم أنفه: مكسب تجاري ـ ذاتي للترويج يقوم على نشر أعمال الكاتب وتحقيق أرباح طائلة من خلاله، وآخر أيديولوجي يقوم على ربط الكاتب بيهوديته وأسوأ من ذلك بصهيونية مفترضة ومبكرة تخدم أهداف برود الذي كان قد هاجر في تلك الأثناء إلى فلسطين. بيد أن الغوص في هذه المسألة ليس مدار بحثنا هنا. فما يهمنا هو كافكا نفسه الذي يبدو واضحاً أن كتاباً جديداً صدر عنه أواسط العشرية الثانية الفائتة من القرن 21، أتى ليس ليضاف فقط إلى مئات الكتب التي سبقته وحملت تواقيع كبيرة في شتى اللغات، بل ليحل مكانها جميعاً تقريباً، بوصفه الكتاب الذي بات من الضروري اعتماده في أي حديث عن كافكا وعن أعمال كافكا، ثم لكونه، وهذا هو جوهر الموضوع، يعطي صورة عن كافكا تتناقض مع كل الصور المعهودة منذ “كافكا الكئيب الذي صوره برود”. وحين نقول “تتناقض” نعني ذلك تماماً. إذ من ذا الذي كان يمكنه أن يصدق قبل ظهور هذا الكتاب الثلاثي الذي اشتغل عليه الباحث الألماني راينر ستاخ عشرات السنين، أن كافكا كان رياضياً سكيراً محباً للحياة والسهر، عاشقاً للسفر، مجداً في عمله الوظيفي في إحدى كبرى شركات التأمين، حيث يعتبر مثالاً للموظف المحب لعمله المتحمس لبيروقراطيته، الذي يسعى كل ليلة للعثور على سهرة يرقص فيها ويصخب ويضحك ملء شدقيه، قبل أن تنتهي به السهرة إلى أي ماخور يجده في طريقه سواء كان ذلك في براغ، مدينته، أو برلين أو أية مدينة إيطالية أو نمساوية أو إسبانية أو فرنسية يزورها. ثم يجلس في اليوم التالي نشيطاً يكتب عن الكآبة الوجودية والمصير الإنساني المظلم والقمع البيروقراطي وبخاصة، مثلاً، عن “جوزف ك.”، واصفاً إياه في السطور الأولى من روايته الكبرى “المحاكمة” بأنه “ذاك الذي لا ريب أن هناك من افتروا عليه، إذ إنه اعتقل ذات صباح من دون أن يكون قد اقترف أي سوء”.

هل كان انفصامياً؟
في الأجزاء الثلاثة التي يتألف منها كتاب ستاخ وتحمل عناوين غاية في الحياد: “كافكا، السنوات الأولى” و”السنوات الحاسمة” وأخيراً “سنوات الاكتمال”، لا يتساءل المؤلف عما إذا كانت تلك الازدواجية التي طبعت حياة كافكا وكتاباته تنم عن انفصام ما، بل يؤكد أن كافكا لم يكتب في نهاية الأمر معبراً عن ذاته حتى ولو اتخذ من مواصفاته الشخصية نموذجاً لبعض أبطاله؛ بل هو كتب عن الشرط الإنساني كما استجد على مشارف القرن العشرين، واصفاً أحوال إنسان ذلك القرن إنما من دون أدنى حنين إلى ما كانت عليه أوضاع ذلك الشرط من قبل. بل لعل فيشر يريد من طرف خفي أن يخبرنا بأن كافكا، وبالتحديد لأنه لم يكن راضياً عن ذلك الشرط وعبر عن ذلك في كتبه الكبرى (“المحاكمة” أو “الإمساخ” وصولاً إلى “سور الصين” و”مستعمرة العقاب” مروراً خاصة بـ”أميركا” و”القصر”) كما في نصوصه الأصغر حجماً وبخاصة في “رسالة إلى الأب” ويومياته من دون أن ننسى مراسلاته المتعددة مع “نساء حياته”، كافكا جعل من حياته نفسها كما من كل تلك النصوص فعل مقاومة حقيقية، وبالتالي تعبيراً عن ذلك الأمل والحبور “الهيدوني”، فزاوج بين حياته وكتاباته مختلطتين بين دعوة سبينوزا إلى الفرح وتعبير شوبنهاور عن بؤس العيش!
الموظف والعاشق المثالي
غير أن ستاخ لم يتوقف طويلاً عند ما يشبه هذا التفسير الوجودي – الفلسفي. ما بدا أنه يهمه في الكتاب إنما هو تقديم ما تبين له، طوال سنوات من البحث الدقيق، أنه الصورة الحقيقية لكافكا. التصوير الدقيق لما عاشه كافكا وكيف صوره. ولكن دائماً من دون أن تكون غايته الفصل بين كافكا الإنسان المرح “الذي لم تكن لتخلو جملة يقولها من نكتة أو فعل سخرية من شخص ما أو شيء ما” وكافكا الكاتب الجاد. الكاتب الذي ندر أن خاض سجالاً سياسياً أو أيديولوجياً مع رفاقه، “كما ندر له أن سمع تأنيباً من رؤسائه في العمل” من الذين لم يكن يفوتهم أن يستزيدوا من حديثه عن سهراته وحبيباته وحتى عن فتيات الهوى اللواتي كان بعضهن يتحول إلى صديقات له، بل حتى لم يندر أن اصطحب بعضهن في جولاته الرياضية وربما في بعض سفراته إلى مشتى من هنا ومنتجع من هناك، وهي سفرات كان يكثر منها كما أشرنا ويحرص على ألا يأخذ معه أوراقاً وأقلاماً حيث كان يفضل أن يمضيها في لهو وعبث ومرح بعيداً عن الكتابة. ترى أين هذا كله، وكله وثقه ستاخ في كتابه مستنداً إلى مئات الوثائق والإضبارات، من الصورة التي رسمها ماكس برود لصديقه الراحل واعتمدت من قبل معظم الذين كتبوا عن كافكا طوال القرن العشرين؟
إعادة الترجمة تستعيد الكاتب
مهما يكن من أمر، يلاحظ فيشر من ناحية أساسية، إنما ليس في رد مباشر على برود، بل في توضيح لا بد من القول إن كثراً قد سبقوه إليه ومن بينهم بالطبع الباحث السوري/ الألماني إبراهيم وطفة، في الكتب العديدة المميزة التي وضعها عن كافكا مترافقة مع ترجماته، التي أتت الأفضل في اللغة العربية لمجمل كتابات كافكا الكبرى، يلاحظ كيف أنه كثيراً ما حدث وانطلاقاً من اشتغال برود نفسه على أعمال صاحب “الإمساخ”، أن أقدم مترجمون إلى لغات عديدة على العودة إلى ترجمة أعمال كافكا، بعد أن بدأوا يكتشفون فيها حس مرح وفكاهة “فات” برود وأمثاله من مترجمي كافكا المبكرين والمؤدلجين بخاصة، أن يدركوه، فإذا بالكاتب الأوسع شهرة بين كتاب الألمانية عند بدايات القرن العشرين يطلع في صيغته الجديدة المصححة، ملكاً من ملوك الأدب الفكه الساخر الجامع بين مرح تشيكي/ ألماني أصيل وفكاهة يهودية راسخة. ونعرف أن مثل هذا قد حدث للكاتب التشيكي الآخر، المعاصر لنا هذه المرة، ميلان كونديرا الذي كانت رواياته تترجم إلى لغات أوروبية من بينها الفرنسية، لكنه حين انشق وتعلم الفرنسية وقرأ ترجمات رواياته إليها شعر بالغبن، إذ إن معظم الترجمات التي قرأها بدت له كئيبة مؤدلجة، فانكب على إعادة ترجمتها بنفسه هذه المرة لتستعيد بين يديه رونقها ومرحها.
سؤال مشروع
وأخيراً لا بد هنا من سؤال: ترى لو أن فرانز كافكا لا يزال يعيش بيننا وقرأ تلك الصفحات الـ2000 المدهشة التي خصه بها ستاخ في ذلك الكتاب الناسف، بمعنى نسفه معظم ما كتب عنه قبل ذلك، كيف كان من شأنه أن يستقبل ذلك الكتاب؟ لسنا ندري لكننا نعرف في الأقل أن نفس هذا السؤال حين يتعلق بماكس برود، سيكون مصيره أوضح، كان برود سيغضب ويشعر بأن خيانة ما ترتكب في حقه، وهو الذي ظل يحرص طوال حياته على الاستحواذ على كافكا وتجييره لمعتقدات أقل ما يمكن القول عنها إنها تتناقض مع تلك السبينوزية (من سبينوزا) التي كانت من المؤثرات الكبرى في حياة كافكا وكتاباته، سواء أعلن ذلك أم لم يعلنه!
