16year old charged after bus driver assaulted

A 16-year-old will face assault causing bodily harm charges in connection with an assault on a Halifax Transit driver.

Police say two teens boarded a bus on Wyse Road around noon on June 2^nd and then began to harass the victim, a passenger on the bus. Police allege that one pair then assaulted the driver before getting off the bus and leaving the area on foot.

Around 10:50 Tuesday morning, police arrested the suspect in Dartmouth, and the teen is scheduled to appear in youth court at a later date.
