On Tuesday morning at roughly 7:20 a.m., officers responded to a report of an unresponsive man in a vehicle, in the parking lot of the Esso gas station on Chebucto Road. Police said when they arrived, they knocked on the window to get the man’s attention and told him to open the door but he did not respond and then officers then got in through the passenger door. The man regained consciousness and was assessed by EHS. According to HRP, the man showed signs of impairment and was arrested without incident. During the investigation, officers found and seized a firearm and a quantity of drugs.
