من هو عاصم عمر الذي “أخفى” أسامة بن لادن لسنوات في باكستان؟

BBC / لقي عاصم عمر، أمير تنظيم القاعدة في جنوب آسيا، حتفه في عملية عسكرية أمريكية أفغانية مشتركة الشهر الماضي، بحسب مصادر استخباراتية أفغانية.

فقد لقي عمر حتفه في غارة على مجمع تابع لحركة طالبان في إقليم هلمند في 23 سبتمبر/أيلول الماضي، وهي الغارة التي أسفرت أيضا عن مصرع 40 مدنيا على الأقل.

فمن هو عاصم عمر؟

في فيديو يرجع تاريخه لـ 9 سبتمبر/أيلول عام 2014 أعلن زعيم تنظيم القاعدة أيمن الظواهري تولية الباكستاني “مولانا عاصم عمر إمارة التنظيم في جنوب آسيا”، كما قام بتسميته متحدثا باسم التنظيم في جنوب آسيا.

وكان قد عرف عن عمر قبل هذه الخطوة كونه منظرا وخطيبا مفوها من القطاع الباكستاني من كشمير، وكان عضوا بارزاً في القاعدة لسنوات عديدة.

وأشارت المعلومات إلى توليه رئاسة لجنة الشريعة داخل تنظيم القاعدة لسنوات قبل توليه قيادة التنظيم في جنوب آسيا.

وتقول التقارير إن عمر، الذي كان في أواخر الأربعينيات من عمره لدى مصرعه، قد قضى سنوات طويلة من عمره في أفغانستان وكان من المقربين من زعيم التنظيم السابق أسامة بن لادن.

وكان ذات يوم من نشطاء مجموعة الجهاد الإسلامي في كشمير ذات الصلة بالقاعدة، وقد أشارت التقارير إلى علاقته الوثيقة بالمتشددين في كشمير لذلك تم تعيينه زعيما للقاعدة في جنوب آسيا.

ونسبت وكالة رويترز لمصادر من المناطق القبلية في باكستان على الحدود مع أفغانستان القول إنه عقب مصرع بن لادن كان الظواهري يسعى لإعادة تنظيم القاعدة وركز اهتمامه على جنوب آسيا.

وتابعت المصادر قائلة: “بدأت القاعدة تجند مقاتلين في أفغانستان، وعين عاصم عمر أميرا للتنظيم في جنوب آسيا لصلته القوية بالإسلاميين داخل باكستان”.

وقالت المصادر إن عمر هو الذي سهل انتقال بن لادن إلى ملاذ آمن في مدينة آبوت آباد الباكستانية حيث عاش لسنوات دون أن يعرف أحد بذلك إلى أن نجحت القوات الأمريكية في قتله.

ونسبت وكالة رويترز لمصادر مطلعة القول إن عمر كان شديد التدين وألّف 4 كتب على الأقل تحرض على الجهاد أحدها عن شركة بلاك ووتر الأمنية الأمريكية وكان عنوانه “جيش المسيح الدجال”.

كما أصدر العديد من الفيديوهات التي تحرض أهالي كشمير على الانضمام إلى المسلحين في حربهم ضد “الكفار”، وكان دائما ما يذكر متابعيه بأمجاد الهند الماضية في ظل الحكم الإسلامي الذي هيمن على الهند لقرون.

وتقول مصادر باكستانية إنه قضى 16 عاما على الأقل في أفغانستان، وكانت المرة الأولى التي يدخل فيها دوائر الجهاد عندما درس في جامعة العلوم الإسلامية في كراتشي.

كما درس عمر أيضا في مدرسة العلوم الحقانية الباكستانية التي كان يديرها مولانا سامي الحق المعروف بأبي طالبان لأنه قام بتدريس عدد كبير من قادة الحركة.
