مؤرخ إنجليزي يؤكد أن ستالين كان زعيم عصابة في شبابه وبوتين يمنع الكتاب

هل كان في وسع أحد أن يتصور خلال الأعوام القليلة التي تلت سقوط الأنظمة الشيوعية في العالم الذي كان يُسمّى “اشتراكياً” أن يوماً سيأتي تمنع فيه السلطات الروسية في موسكو ترجمة وصدور كتاب عن ستالين لمجرد أنه يتحدث عن ثاني حكام الاتحاد السوفياتي، واصفاً إياه بأنه كان في شبابه زعيم عصابة؟
الحقيقة أن الذين تناهى إلى أسماعهم يوماً أن القيصر الحالي للكرملين فلاديمير بوتين لم يتورع قبل أعوام قليلة من يومنا هذا عن إلقاء درس تاريخي عن سلفه “الكبير” تحدث فيه عن “الدور الوطني المجيد الذي لعبه ستالين في تاريخ البلاد”، كان يمكنهم وحدهم أن يتخيلوا أن ذلك سيحدث في الوقت ذاته الذي تضرب قوات الأمن في كل مناسبة شيوعيين يحملون صوراً وشعارات تمجّد ستالين ويرمون بعضهم في السجون. فهذا أمر وذاك أمر آخر. وربما تعكس هذه التناقضات نزعة وطنية تمنع الأجنبي من أن يقول ما نقوله نحن عن واحد من بلادنا!
نظرة موضوعية لكنها مرفوضة
ولنقل هنا على أي حال إن الكتاب الذي منعه بوتين في بلاده، لم يكُن مسيئاً إلى هذه الدرجة في حق ستالين، وهو ما سنصل إليه بعد سطور. الكتاب هو “ستالين: بلاط القيصر الأحمر” للمؤرخ الإنجليزي سيمون صباغ مونتفيوري، ويشكل إضافة نوعية إلى مكتبة تضم مئات الكتب التي وُضعت عن ستالين. واللافت من بينها مديح عدد قليل جداً فيه، ووصف دائم بافتقاره إلى النظرة المنطقية ودائماً ما وضعه مؤرخون شيوعيون في حياة الرجل ليعتذروا عنه بعد رحيله عام 1953، لا سيما بعد تقرير خليفته خروتشيف المقدم الى المؤتمر العشرين (1956) للحزب الشيوعي السوفياتي، خالقاً “فضيحة الفضائح” بالتهم التي صبّها على رأس الزعيم الراحل، فيما صدرت غالبيتها العظمى في الغرب خلال حياة ستالين وبعد رحيله. وكانت هذه الكتب كما نعرف كتباً تُتهم حتى من قبل أن تُقرأ بتجنّيها على “منقذ العالم من النازية” في “الحرب الوطنية الكبرى”، وهو الوصف الرسمي للحرب العالمية الثانية؟
استعادة شباب مجهول
مهما يكُن، فإن البعد النوعي الذي ميّز كتاب الإنجليزي مونتيفيوري يمكن تلمسه في ما يلي: فعلى الرغم من أن الكتب التي صدرت خلال زمن الاتحاد السوفياتي عن ستالين، ثاني زعماء تلك الإمبراطورية تاريخياً بعد لينين المؤسس، تُعدّ بالمئات، وعلى الرغم من أن سيرة حياة ذاك الذي كان يلقب بـ”أبي الشعب الصغير”، كانت تدرّس في المدارس والكليات، ظل ثمة على الدوام سؤال محيّر فحواه: كيف عاش ستالين وماذا كان يفعل خلال الفترة الفاصلة بين الثورتين الروسيتين الكبيرتين أوائل القرن العشرين: ثورة 1905 التي أجهضت، وثورة 1917، التي نجحت وتواصلت بشكل أو بآخر، ما لا يقل عن ثلاثة أرباع القرن؟ لقد ظل الجواب عن هذا السؤال على الدوام مجالاً للتأويل والتخمين، من دون الوصول الى أي يقين، خصوصاً أن السلطات السوفياتية والحزبية أسطرت الأمر دائماً وغيّبته في بعض الأحيان، ناهيك عن أنه حتى بعد سقوط ستالين وفضحه من قبل خروتشيف خلال المؤتمر العشرين الذي أشرنا إليه ودفن الرجل بعد موته بطريقة بدت معها وكأنها موت ثانٍ له، ظل شباب الرجل مسكوتاً عنه.
زعيم عصابة في الكرملين
من هنا، إذاً، تنبع أهمية كتاب “بلاط القيصر الأحمر” الذي صدر أولاً في لندن عام 2001 ككتاب مجدد، إذ كرّس صفحاته التي لا تقل عن 500 صفحة للحديث، بخاصة، عن تلك الأعوام من حياة ستالين. فما الجديد الذي أتى به؟ ربما ينحصر الجواب في “حقيقة” واحدة أكدها الكتاب بالوثائق، وهي أن المناضل الشيوعي الشاب ستالين، وقبل أن يحمل هذا الاسم إذ كان لا يزال يُدعى يوسف جوغاشفيلي، والذي أمضى سنوات صباه الأولى في إحدى قرى جورجيا التي كانت ملحقة بالإمبراطورية الروسية وقام فيها باكراً تنظيم شيوعي على النمط اللينيني، كان واحداً من أكثر أعضائه الشباب حماسة. وهو بالتالي، وكما يروي لنا مونتيفيوري مستنداً إلى مئات الوثائق والشهادات التي أتى بها من مصادرها الأصلية، انصرف خلال تلك الأعوام إلى السرقة والنهب، إذ تزعّم عصابة، كانت تلك مهمتها وممارساتها.
بعيداً من التخمينات المغرضة
ولكن، هنا، كي لا تذهب التخمينات بعيداً، لا بد من الإشارة الى أن مونتيفيوري يؤكد في الكتاب أن ستالين لم يتزعم تلك العصابة لحسابه، بل لحساب الحزب. والحكاية أنه بعدما أخفقت ثورة عام 1905 وسط كل ضروب القمع والاضطهاد، وجد الحزب الذي أعاد تنظيم صفوفه أنه كي يستأنف نشاطاته السياسية الثورية، لا بد له من الحصول على أموال تكفيه لذلك، ولطباعة منشوراته وتفريغ كادراته الحزبية. ومن هنا، ولأن ستالين كان بارعاً في مثل تلك الأمور، أسند الحزب إليه مهمة تشكيل مجموعات تسطو على المصارف والمخازن، وتستخدم العنف في ممارساتها. وبالفعل، تولّى ستالين هذه المهمات، لا سيما خلال الأعوام السابقة مباشرة لاندلاع الحرب العالمية الأولى (1914).
ويرى المؤرخ أن تلك السنوات كانت هي التي كوّنت عقلية ستالين ونزوعه إلى العنف، وقدرته على إيجاد مبرر ثوري وحزبي! لكل أنواع التصرفات. في معنى أن ما كان لدى لينين نظرياً وفكرياً (أي: الثورة لها الأولوية ومهما كانت الوسائل، وعلى الأقل حتى انتصارها وتكوّن الدولة) صار لدى ستالين، الذي كان يعتبر نفسه تلميذاً نجيباً للينين، ممارسة فعلية.
تعمق سيكولوجي
ولا مفر هنا من العودة بعض الشيء إلى فصول في الكتاب، إذ وجد مونتيفيوري أنها مفيدة بعدما تلمّس ضرورة الوصول إلى تحليل سيكولوجي لشخصية الفتى الذي كانه ستالين قبل سنوات “العصابات الحزبية” تلك. وهي بالتحديد سنوات المراهقة إذ بدا وكأن والدَي الفتى، الذي سيكونه ستالين، كانا قد اعتادا أن يوسعاه ضرباً وإهانة مقابل كل فعل سيّء يقترفه.
وفي هذ السياق، يروي مونتيفيوري كيف أن ستالين حين أضحى من زعماء العمل السياسي على صعيد البلد كله، سأل أمه التي كانت لا تكف عن إبداء فخرها به وبتربيتها له، عن السبب الذي جعلها تبدي كل تلك القسوة المعنوية والجسدية ضده وهو صغير، فابتسمت وأجابته: هل آذاك ضربي لك؟ ويرى مونتيفيوري أن ذلك الجواب من الأم كان بمثابة درس عميق تلقّاه الابن منها. درس في العنف وفي تربية الشعوب تربية قاسية لا بد منها لتحسين أدائها الأخلاقي والارتقاء بها إلى الأعلى، تماماً كما حدث للفتى نفسه.
واللافت أن المؤرخ بدا إيجابياً إلى حد كبير تجاه تحليله لشخصية ستالين عل ضوء تلك الواقعة البسيطة في شكلها المباشر، على عكس تحليله لواقعة أخرى تزيد عليها بساطة، وتتعلق بتأكيد ستالين لاحقاً أن زوجته الأولى إيكاترينا سفانيدزي ماتت عام 1907 بالتيفوئيد وليس بالسل الذي قتلها بالفعل.
المؤرخ يفشل في إقناع الكرملين
طبعاً لم يكُن هذا أهم ما في الكتاب، إنما كان أهمه تلك الحكايات التي تشبه حكايات روبن هود والتي يقول مؤرخون كثر إن ستالين كان معجباً بها منذ صغره وكادت مهماته الحزبية الأولى تكون مستعارة منها. صحيح أن المؤرخ قال وكرر ما فحواه أن ذلك التاريخ الذي كان مطموساً ليس فيه ما يشين، ومع ذلك يمكننا أن نتصور، كيف طلع كثر من الكتاب، وحتى من بين غير الستالينيين ليعارضوا نظرية مونتيفيوري هذه، وليحتجوا بخاصة، حين شبّه هذا المؤرخ، ممارسات ستالين وعصاباته أوائل القرن العشرين، بما ستفعله العصابات النازية تحت زعامة هتلر في ألمانيا مباشرة قبل عام 1932، وانتصار الحزب القومي الاشتراكي (النازي) وتسلّمه السلطة، إذ من المعروف أن العصابات النازية لجأت إلى ممارسة اللصوصية وقطع الطرق والإرهاب الفردي والجماعي. ولكن إذا كانت هذه العصابات فعلت هذا كله لإشاعة مناخ من اللاأمان واللااستقرار، يمهّد لمطالبة “الشعب العريض” بمجيء ديكتاتور قوي إلى الحكم (يتمثل طبعاً في زعيم الحزب النازي)، فإن الستالينيين فعلوه لمجرد أن يحصلوا على مكاسب مادية تمكّنهم من القيام بثورتهم، يقول مونتيفيوري الذي لم يلقَ تفسيره الإيجابي هذا من سلطات الكرملين رضا على الرغم من ذلك!
