بدأت مستشفيات مدينة كيبيك في التحضير إلى استعمال مشارح مؤقتة لمواجهة العدد الكبير المحتمل للوفيات بسبب جائحة كوفيد 19.
وتتنبأ وكالة الصحة العامة في مقاطعة كيبيك بارتفاع في عدد الوفيات يتراوح بين 1.263 إلى 8.860 حالة بحلول نهاية أبريل نيسان قبل أن تتراجع الجائحة.
وتم وضع حاويات مبردة على أرضية المعهد الجامعي لأمراض القلب والرئة في كيبيك.
